04. Why we use your information
We process personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended.
Quotations, bookings and repairs
We use relevant contact and vehicle details to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform our contract with you.
General enquiries and correspondence
Where a request is not part of entering into or performing a contract, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business.
Security, service records and disputes
We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting our website, preventing misuse, maintaining appropriate records and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. We consider the impact on your rights and only use information that is proportionate to these purposes.

Publishing photographs on our website or social media is a separate purpose. Before publication, we will remove or obscure identifying details, such as registration plates and visible personal documents, or obtain consent where the image remains identifiable.
Sending photographs for a quotation does not, by itself, give us permission to publish identifiable images.
If you withdraw consent to publication, contact us using the details above. We will stop future use based on that consent and remove the relevant material from channels we control, subject to any lawful reason for retaining a separate internal record. We may be unable to remove copies independently shared by others.

07. International transfers
Website hosting, email and messaging services may involve processing outside the United Kingdom.
Where we make a restricted international transfer, we must ensure a lawful transfer mechanism is in place. This may be UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards, such as approved contractual protections, together with any required assessment.
Please contact us for information about transfers relevant to your data and how to obtain details or copies of applicable safeguards.
